The pairing of actor and director is quite common in Bollywood. From Ranbir Kapoor-Ayan Mukherjee, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone & Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Salman Khan- Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar-Shah Rukh Khan/Kajol all the celebs believed in working in a group and enjoyed success. But times are changing. With the onset of online entertainment channels and the typical formulas for box-office success not working anymore, production houses, as well as actors, are now ready to experiment.

- Ajay Devgn and Farah Khan
The friendship between the “Tanhaji” star and Rohit Shetty is quite famous as they have worked together back to back in the “Golmaal” series and “Singham.” But Ajay and Farha have never worked together until now. The duo of Farah and Rohit have been planning a remake of “Satte Pe Satta” for some time and have approached many stars including Hrithik Roshan for the role earlier played by Amitabh Bachchan. The latest news says that Ajay Devgn is being approached for the role. If this does come true it will lead to a very different presentation on the screen as the “Singham” actor believes in underplay whereas Farha’s movies are all about flamboyance and cinematic extravaganza.
- Farhan Akhtar & Salman Khan
The association of Farhan Akhtar and Salman Khan goes a long way when they were very young and their fathers used to work as a team. The “Dil Chahta Hai” director has always wanted to work with Salman but it never materialized. Now it is rumoured that Bhaijjan is finally hearing a narration from the “Don” director and the duo might soon announce a movie together.
Once again both Farhan and Salman have a different style of working and it will be just wonderful to see the two bringing their creativity to live on the big screen. Fans are eager to see new pairs like Deepika Padukone with Salman Khan/Hrithik Roshan or Hrithik Roshan with Anushka Sharma and more. Hopefully, their dreams will materialize very soon.
