During a recent interview with GQ India, Ahaan addressed the whispers head-on. “Aneet is my best friend. The whole internet thinks we’re together, but we’re not,” he clarified, finally closing the chapter on months of speculation.

He added that the emotional resonance audiences feel between them comes from trust and safety, not romance.

“Chemistry isn’t always romantic - it’s about comfort, safety, and being seen. We’ve both made each other feel that,” he explained.

He even admitted, “Even though she’s not my girlfriend, I’ll never have a bond like I have with Aneet.”

Their connection began long before fame found them. Both were drawn to a Paulo Coelho line.

He said, “It’s the possibility of a dream coming true that makes life interesting.” 

Ahaan revealed that this quote became symbolic of their journey to Saiyaara. “We dreamed this together, and it came true. What we’ve shared is so special,” he reflected.
