Well-known Ad-guru and actor Alyque Padamsee breathed his last at the age of 90 in Mumbai today morning.

Alyque is best known for his role as Muhammad Ali Jinnah in 1982 historical drama "Gandhi" and was the Chief Executive of Lintas which is one of the top advertising agencies in the country, reported NDTV.

Famous ad campaigns like Hamara Bajaj, Cherry Blossom Shoe polish, Liril, Surf and MRF tyres are the brainchild of Alyque, who had received Padmashri in the year 2000 and was named "Advertising Man of the Century" by The Advertising Club in Mumbai.
