The Producers Guild of India today took a stand slamming attack on the Bollywood industry. Incidentally, ever since Sushant Singh Rajput's death, the Indian film fraternity is facing an onslaught of allegations related to nepotism. Now with the angle of drug cartel emerging during investigation things are becoming murkier.

In its open letter, the Producers Guild of India took notice of the disappointing death of SSR. But it also says that a few people are using it to defame the entire Bollywood industry. In its introductory part, the letter says, "The tragic death of a promising young star has been used by some as a tool to defame and slander film industry and its members. A picture has been painted of the industry as a terrible place for outsiders to aspire to, a place that treats those who dare to enter with contempt and derision; a murky den of substance abuse and criminality." The letter strongly says, "It is not the truth."

At one point, the letter says, "Last few months have seen relentless attacks on the reputation of the Indian film industry across all media." However, Sushant Singh Rajput fans are not happy with this stand. One of the fans wrote, "Excuse me! why didn't you all step in when a man of your fraternity was being targeted viciously through blind items where was your solidarity and unity then? what stupidity is this? #DopeTestinBollywood Ready to defend druggies but not an honest hardworking man?? keep falling!"

Another user wrote, "This one letter cannot restore faith and boost any confidence in the hearts of youngsters who aspire to get into this industry. It can only happen if producers like @karanjohar bring in the "really talented actors" and not just those who are the kids of stars."

Will This Create Trouble For Kangana Ranaut?

Producers Guild of India is the leading body in the country that represents film, television, and digital entertainment platforms. The allegations of slamming the Bollywood fraternity are indirectly targetted towards Kangana Ranaut and leading media channels supporting CBIforSSR. While currently, the actress have some big projects in hand, she stands to lose some major offers as the majority of film producers are connected to this guild.

But the Queen actress continues to get strong support from fans and followers. As a rule, Kangana Ranaut has never worked with top banners like Dharma Productions or Yash Raj Banners. Also, she has never worked with big Bollywood superstars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan. But still, she managed to achieve stardom. However, if a group of producers is standing against Kangana Ranaut then it can create a problem for the actress.
