BJD will announce candidates soon: Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: While exuding confidence of BJD sweeping back to power, party president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today said that his party will soon come out with the final list of candidates.

Speaking to mediamen in Bhubaneswar, CM Patnaik said BJD will do well in the coming elections, but stopped short of predicting any particular number of seats for the party. Patnaik added that the party will soon come out with its candidates' list for the first phase of the polls to be held on April 11.

Responding to media queries, Naveen asserted that the large-scale joining of leaders from other parties and former bureaucrats in BJD would not pose any challenge for the party while distributing tickets. "The party is adept in good management," he quipped.
