CHSE Controller of Examinations, Prasanta Parida, said, “This year, we will begin the examinations on an auspicious day between February 15 and 25.” The council has also announced plans to digitise students’ provisional certificates for easier access and verification.

This year’s Plus 2 examinations will be conducted under enhanced security arrangements. CCTV cameras will be installed in all examination halls and corridors, with close monitoring to be maintained across centres. CHSE has instructed that all installations be completed by November 29.

Preparations Underway in Colleges

Following the date announcement, college authorities across the state have begun their preparations. BJB Junior College Principal, Ranjan Kumar Bal, said, “We will conduct a pre-board examination from November 10 onwards. It will follow the same pattern as the CHSE Plus 2 examination.”

Students have also started gearing up for the upcoming exams. One student shared, “We have already started our preparation. Our internal assessment is likely to be held in November, and we are preparing for that as well.” Another student added, “We feel nervous, but knowing the tentative dates helps us prepare accordingly.”

With stricter monitoring and digital reforms, CHSE aims to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process across all centres this year.
