The CBSE warned that failing to comply with the notice could lead to further action, including possible sanctions under the board’s regulatory provisions.

School Refutes Allegations

Parents alleged that the school had raised fees without adequate consultation over the past five years, imposing what they described as steep hikes. They also pointed out that the school lacked a properly constituted PTA for seven to eight years, thereby depriving families of a recognised forum to discuss and influence decisions.

Additional concerns were raised about educational standards, limited sports opportunities, and insufficient medical facilities at the school.

In response to the CBSE’s notice, the principal of the school - Hyderabad Public School in Ramanthapur, S. Narsimha Reddy, alleged that the allegations were without merit. He further noted that the school had already submitted its reply to the board.
