UGC NET Exam 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA), the institution that has been conducting the UGC NET exams since 2018, has brought in changes in the syllabus for all the subjects.

The University Grants Commission's (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET), which is expected to be conducted from June 20 to June 29 will now be based as per the NTA's new syllabus.

NOTE: The changes have been done in both paper I and paper II of all the subjects. It is worth mentioning that the NTA had made minor changes in the exam pattern of the computer-based test of UGC NET last year.

Besides, earlier, CBSE used to conduct the UGC NET exam in two parts- paper I and paper II but NTA is now conducting the exam in one go for both paper I and paper II.

While the registration for the UGC NET exam is likely to commence from March 1, students can check the new syllabus by following the below mentioned steps:

1. Go to the official website: ugcnetonline.in

2. Click ‘Updated Syllabi of UGC-NET June 2019’

3. A new page will appear on the screen

4. Click 'Download' next to the subjects opting for

The NET exam is conducted for junior research fellowship (JRF) and assistant professor and takes place twice a year.
