New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently released the UGC NET July 2018 examination notification. CBSE has brought around some changes in the exam pattern and eligibility criteria. Here's the detail:

Students need to know that the exam pattern for UGC NET 2018 would be changed. As per the short notification, UGC NET examination would now have two papers – Paper I and II of 100 and 200 marks respectively.

The paper would be an objective type paper of 300 marks- Paper I would be general aptitude test with 50 questions, paper II would be an objective paper focusing on the subject chosen by the candidate, Times Now reported.

While the students will appear for the UGC NET 2018 examination on July 8, the upper age limit for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) has been extended from 28 to 30 years. The exam pattern has also been changed.

Meanwhile, the online application for UGC NET July 2018 exam will start from March 6, 2018. Students have to submit their applications by April 5, 2018.
