Bhubaneswar: The deadline of 'application submission process' for the posts of Sub-Inspectors & Constable in Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) ended on June 30 and with that candidates are believed to be concerned about the exam dates and the exam pattern for the same.

The total no of posts for which the recruitment will be done is 9739- Constable: 8619/Sub-Inspector: 1120.

Meanwhile, we have come up with the tentative exam date and the exam patter for those who have applied for the above posts with an aim to help them out in preparing themselves properly before they appear for the exam/selection procedure.

The pay scale for the two posts are as follows:

Constable: Level 3 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 21,700/- and allowances

Sub-Inspector: Level 6 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 35,400/- and allowances

RRB RPF/RPSF Recruitment Exam Date

Though the RRB is yet to come up with the dates for the exam dates, the Computer Based Test (CBT) is expected to be held in September and October 2018.

The job aspirants should take the date as tentative and start preparing as 'Any Opportunity Should Never Be Missed'.

Computer Based Test (CBT)

General Awareness: 50
Arithmetic: 35
General Intelligence & Reasoning: 35
Total: 120
Total Duration to Complete the Exam: 90 min

Applicants must know that the exam pattern is same for Constable and Sub-Inspector posts but the questions for Constable post is 10th/Matric level while for Sub-Inspector, it will be Graduate level.

It will consist of multiple choice objective type questions and for every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.

NOTE: Students can appear for the exam in 15 different languages- Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.
