BHubaneswar/New Delhi: In a major development, the Indian Railways has postponed the Group-D examination scheduled to be held on October 11 and 12 in view of Very Severe Cyclonic storm Titli, sources said.

As per sources, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) exam that was scheduled on October 11 and 12 in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Khurda and Berhamapur has been cancelled.

The revised dates and place will be sent to candidates on their registered mobile number and email, informed Chairman of RRB, Bhubaneshwar.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had earlier postponed the release of exam city and date for the aspiring candidates for Group D posts who are scheduled to take the exam beginning after October 16, 2018.

As per the information released by the RRB on the official website earlier, the exam city and date information for RRB Group D exam scheduled after October 16 was to be released on October 5, 2018. The Group D exams will be conducted till December, 2018.

The details for the candidates were earlier expected to be released on September 30.
