RRB Recruitment 2018 for 9739 SI, Constable: Application submission process begins

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: The application submission process has begun for the posts of 1120 Sub Inspector and 8619 Constable in the Indian Railways' Railway Protection Force (RPF)/ Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) under the 7th CPC pay Matrix.

Both male and females can apply for a total of 9739 posts on or before June 30.

RPF Sub Inspector Eligibility Details

Education Qualification:

Graduate from a recognized University can only be able to apply. Those awaiting result of the final examination of the prescribed educational qualification are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit (As on 01.07.2018):

Minimum: 20

Maximum: 25

Pay Scale:

Level 6 of 7th CPC pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 35,400/- plus other allowances for the Sub Inspector posts.

Application Fee:

General and OBC candidates will have to shell out Rs 500 as examination fee while SC/ ST/ Ex Serviceman/ Female/ Minorities/ Economically Backward Classes will have to pay Rs 250.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates those who applied for 10th standard can apply for the post.

Age Limit:

Minimum: 18

Maximum: 25

Salary:

Candidates once appointed will get pay of Rs 21,700.

Physical Efficiency test (PET)

Written examination

Viva Voce and document verification

Application Fee:

Application fee for General category applicants is Rs 40 and for OBC/SC/ST no fee is required.
