Bhubaneswar: Railway job aspirants, be alert... the time has come to meet your dream of becoming a part of the Indian Railways as it now clear that the exams to almost 90,000 Group C and Group D posts will be conducted in September.

Yes, you have heard right. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is planning to conduct the Group C and D exams in September 2018. The entire processes of the exams are likely to be completed by December 2018.

The exams will be conducted to fill as many as 26502 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician under Group C category in the railways. Similarly, 62907 posts in Group D will be filled through the exams.

It is worth mentioning that for the 89000 posts (appox) a total of which 2.37 crore applications has been received.

As per reports, scrutiny of the application forms will be completed by July 10, 2018 following which RRB will release the list of eligible candidates.

Meanwhile, the Board is likely to declare the Result for both the groups within a month once the exam procedure gets completed in the month of December.

On the other hand, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has asserted that the process of appointment to the Group C and D posts is emboldened to finish until March 2019 before the commencement of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 and added that special precautions will be taken to ensure free and fair exam.

Moreover, this time the Railway Board will facilitate the candidates with the convenience of providing their cut off marks and result after the exam on their Email Ids.

The inspection work of application forms is on the last stage. It is hopeful that Railway Exam 2018 will start in the month of September. Candidates are advised to check official website on regular basis
