NEET Result 2020 Today; Know Expected Cut-Off And Other Latest Updates

NEET Result 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) today at around 4 PM. Students can check NEET Exam Results 2020 on the official website of the NTA- ntaneet.ac.in. The students will have to enter their roll number mentioned on the admit card to check their scorecard.
This year, around 15.93 lakh candidates had registered for the medical exams this year which was held on September 13 with all the prescribed COVID-19 protocols after being cancelled for multiple times due to the pandemic and subsequent nationwide lockdown.
Candidates who could not appear the examination on September 13 due to Covid-19 pandemic were allowed to sit in the second phase NEET exam held on October 14 after Supreme Court’s order.
Though the exact number of students who appeared for the test is not available, reports said nearly 85-90 per cent students appeared for the examination which is an average, compared to the last couple of years.

Step 2: Click on the link for NEET Result 2020
Step 3: Enter registration number, roll number and submit
Step 4: Results will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download it, and take a print out for further reference.
NEET Cut-Off Marks 2020
As per the minimum qualifying criteria, candidates under reserved categories including SC and ST will be required to obtain the qualifying NEET marks and a minimum of 40th percentile points while for for PwD candidates it is 45th percentile. The NEET score is accepted in Indian colleges and institutes and as per the latest rule, NEET is also mandatory for Indian students aspiring to study medicine and related fields abroad.
NEET Counselling 2020
Candidates who qualify for NEET counseling are those who are under 15 per cent of all India quota (AIQ) which include seats at government colleges (except in Jammu and Kashmir), central and deemed universities, seats reserved for wards of insured persons (IP quota) in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) medical colleges and seats available at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune while the remaining 85 per cent seats are reserved for the state quota.
The NTA will forward the list of successful candidates to DG of Health Services, medical examination cell of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. While the NTA will be declaring the rank, the counseling will be done by the Ministry.
What is NEET?
