NEET 2020: Registration Begins, Things Candidates Must Know

Students can now start online registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the NEET 2020 exam online at ntaneet.nic.in.

Though the registration process began today, the last date for the NEET 2020 registration is December 31, 2019, till 11:50 PM.

“Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 provides for holding of a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions including those governed under any other law.

Thus, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like Institutions will be made through NEET. The eligibility criteria applicable to appear in NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to the candidates desirous to take admission to INIs like AIIMS,” read the notice for the same available on the official website.

The National Testing Agency is all set to conduct the NEET 2020 examination on May 3, 2020, while the result will be declared on June 4, 2020.

General: Rs 1500, General EWS/OBC: Rs 1400

SC/ST: Rs 800, Transgender Candidates: Rs 800

Correction in Particulars of Application Form: January 15 to 31, 2020

Release of Admit Card: March 27, 2020

Result Declaration on NTA Website: June 4, 2020

After registration is done, login again with the registration id

Application form will appear on your screen, fill all the details & upload requisite documents

Pay your application fee as per your category

Download the application form and take a print out of the same for future references
