Bhubaneswar: The registration process for the Joint Entrance Exam or JEE Main 2021 has begun. The National Testing Agency (NTA) today opened the registration window.

Candidates can submit online application form through the NTA JEE Main website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply for the JEE Main Exam is January 15, 2021.

Meanwhile, the JEE Main will be conducted in multiple sessions for the next acedemic session- February, March, April and May 2021. The NTA said that it will give multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best in the first attempt without wasting their whole academic year.

"In first attempt, the students will get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and will know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the next time. This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste a full year. If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control, then he/she will not have to wait for one full year," NTA said.

The first session of the JEE Main 2021 will be conducted between February 22 and 25. The exam will be held in 13 languages while the admit card for the first session of JEE Main is expected to be released in the first week of January.

The JEE Main 2021exam will be held in two shifts- first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
