The registration process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2019 is open on the official website www.jeeadv.nic.in . To appear for the JEE Advanced, candidates from India will have to secure a rank in top 2.45 lakh, said a notification issued by the JEE.

The pan-India entrance exam is a must for students to take admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).
The application process for foreign candidates has begun and the last date to apply is May 9.

Indian students who have cleared the JEE Main can appear for the JEE Advanced. For candidates from India who have qualified JEE Main, the applications will begin from May 3, 2019.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to announce the JEE Main 2019 result.

Age limit: Candidates should have been born on before October 1, 1994. Further relaxation of five years is allowed for SC, ST and persons with disability candidates.

Steps to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website, jeeadv.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on register for JEE advanced ‘click here’ link
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page
Step 4: Register using basic details
Step 5: Log-in using the registration number
Step 6: Fill form, upload images
Step 7: Make payment

Fee
Candidates need to pay Rs 2,600 as registration fee. For SC, ST and PwD candidates and Indian and PIO female candidates (all categories) the fee is Rs 1,300. For foreign nationals, the fee is $150 and for SAARC nationals it is $75. Additional GST will be applicable on all the fees.
