India Postal Recruitment 2018: Notification Out; Apply Now for Multi Tasking Staff Posts

In yet another good news for government job seekers, the India Post Office has released a recruitment notification and invited applications for filling up Multi Tasking Staff posts. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to apply soon as the last date for submission of the application form is September 20, 2018.

Note: The applicants should go through the official notification to confirm their eligibility before applying for the posts.

As per sources, 25% of the posts through direct recruitment will be on the basis of a competitive exam restricted to GDS for selection in the division.

Eligibility Criteria: Age of candidates willing to apply for the posts should be less than 50 years as on April 4, 2017 for GDS. However, the age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Another 25% will be on the basis of competitive exam restricted to GDS of the recruiting division for joining Army Postal Services only as Sepoy acker( Male Candidates only).

Age Limit: Applicants' age should be between 18 and 30 years.

Minimum Physical Standards: Candidates applying for the posts should be physically fit as per the fitness criteria fixed by the Department of Posts/ APS. Height: 157 cms, Weight: 50 Kgs, Chest: 77 cms.

Note: The examination for the posts will be held at all Regional Headquarters of the Circle in Chennai, Trichy, Madurai and Coimbatore.
