India Post Recruitment June 2018 under 7th Pay Matrix: Hurry up!

Hyderabad/Bhubaneswar: India Post Office has released a recruitment notification for the positions of Staff Car Driver. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post on or before June 25, 2018.

Age Limit (as per closing date for receipt of applications)

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 27 years

Age relaxation is admissible by 5 years for SC&ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. For government job holders, it is up to 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by Central Government.

Scale of Pay and Probation

Salary for the selected aspirants will be Rs 19900/- (Level2 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC)

Probation period is 2 years for ‘Direct Recruits’.

Educational Qualification and Other Details

Knowledge of Motor Mechanism The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle. Experience of driving light and heavy motor vehicles for at least three years.

Should have completed 10th standard from recognized board or institute.

Desirable qualification: Three years service as Home Guard or Civil volunteers.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be made amongst the candidates possessing the required qualifications and license and on the basis of driving test to assess their competency in driving light and heavy motor vehicles.
