According to the official circular dated 16′ April 2021, the board mentions that a final decision on the offline class 12 examinations will be taken at a later date after review of the pandemic situation in the first week of June.

Meanwhile, all affiliated schools (having the ISC Section) have been instructed to begin the admission process for Class 11, if not already started. In addition, schools have also been asked to prepare a schedule to begin online classes for the Standard 11 students at the earliest. The syllabus to be followed is the ISC 2023 syllabus.

To ensure a ‘fair and an unbiased criterion’ and date of result declaration, the CISCE said that it is committed to devise a condition on which basis the results will be declared for the ICSE (Class X) students and the date of result declaration will be announced later.

The ICSE decision comes closely on the heels of CBSE announcing cancellation of class 10 board examinations for the academic year in view of the pandemic surge. The Board Exams for Class 12 scheduled from May 4th to June, 14th, 2021 have also been postponed and might be held hereafter.
