The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) had earlier invited candidates to walk-in for the positions of Junior Research Fellows. The interview for the said position is tomorrow, February 5, 2020.

Age Limit: The upper age limit to the walk-in-interview is 28 years.

Educational Qualification: Fellowships at JRF level are available initially for a 2-year period (extendable as per rule) at a monthly stipend of Rs 31,000 (House Rent Allowance is admissible as per Central Government rules).

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview to be held at DROMI, Delhi for the selection of JRF as per details below:

For, Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics/Geomatics/Geology/Geography:

M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech.) with 1st division at Graduate & Post Graduate level and valid NET GATE qualification/score. OR M.E./M.Tech with 1st division at both Graduate and Post-Graduate level.

For, Civil Engineering:

BE/B.Tech with 1st division and valid NET/GATE 01 score. OR M.E./M.Tech with 1st division at both Graduate and Post-Graduate level.

For, Computer Science/Computer Engineering

BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/M.Sc. (Tech.) with 1st division and valid NET/GATE score. OR M.E./M.Tech with 1st division at both Graduate and Post-Graduate level.

NET/GATE qualification, wherever prescribed, should be valid as on date of walk-in-interview. Meanwhile, Director, DTRL reserves the right not to select any candidate if suitable candidates are not available.

General Guidelines for Candidates

Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 05.02.2020 at 09:15 Hrs at DROMI, Delhi 110054. They will be admitted from 9:15 Hrs to 11:15 Hrs ONLY.

They are required to produce all certificates/ testimonials/Community certificate/valid GATE/NET Scorecard etc. in original along with their bio-data at the interview.

Candidates also require to bring a set of self-attested copies of all their certificates/ testimonials/ Community certificate/valid GATE/NET Scorecard and ID proof (Voter's ID/Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Driving License) along with one recent passport size photograph at the time of interview.

Those working in Govt. / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Bodies and want to attend the walk-in should apply through proper channel.

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in-interview.

NOTE: Offering of fellowships does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO. Besides, the fellowship may also be terminated at any stage by Director, DTRL, without assigning any reason.
