New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: The online application for UGC NET July 2018 exam has started today. Students can submit their applications by April 5, 2018.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had earlier released the UGC NET July 2018 examination notification and brought around some changes in the exam pattern and eligibility criteria.

It is worth mentioning that some revisions have been brought in the exam pattern. The exam pattern for UGC NET 2018 would now be changed as per the short notification, UGC NET examination would now have two papers – Paper I and II of 100 and 200 marks respectively.

The paper would be an objective type paper of 300 marks- Paper I would be general aptitude test with 50 questions, paper II would be an objective paper focusing on the subject chosen by the candidate, as per media reports.

While the students will appear for the UGC NET 2018 examination on July 8, the upper age limit for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) has been extended from 28 to 30 years.
