New Delhi: With an aim to make the education environment better for students with special needs, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has formed a committee to formulate new policies.

The news has come as a relief for parents of the students with special needs who have been complaining the CBSE of poor education environment provided to these kids which has so far resulted poor performance of such students in their Class 10 and 12 board exams.

CBSE has formed the new committee to change the education infrastructure and teaching process for these kids so that they can perform equally well in their exams, said media reports.

The new committee will find ways for students with special needs so that they can learn better at schools. Besides, teachers will be attending workshops on behavioural problems of special kid helping them to ensure these kids get equal opportunities in CBSE schools.

Meanwhile, CBSE has confirmed that the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams will be conducted in March and not in February. The confirmation from the Board came amidst rumours that the CBSE has decided to advance the 2018 board examinations of Class 10 and Class 12 to February.

As per the reports, the Board is working on the formalities of the exams’ dates and the stakeholders will be intimated about it once it is ready.
