Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday issued revised date sheet for the 2021 board examinations of class 10 and 12 students.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Class 10 and 12 board examinations will be held between May 4 to June 14, 2021.

As per the official notification,  the Science examination for Class 10 students has been postponed to May 21.

For class 10, the subjects whose exams have been rescheduled are Maths, Science, French, German, Arabic, Sanskrit, Malayalam, Punjabi, Russian and Urdu.

For class 10, Science exam has been postponed to May 21. Earlier, it was scheduled for May 15.

For Class 10, Mathematics exam has been shifted from 21 May to 2 June in the revised date sheet, including other various subjects.

For class 12 Science stream, the Physics exam which was scheduled to be held on May 13 has been postponed to June 8, 2021.

Mathematics and Applied Mathematics exam will be conducted on May 31.

Class 12 Geography paper will be now held on June 3. Earlier, the paper was scheduled for June 2. There will be no exams on May 13, 14 for Class 12 students.

As per the revised date sheet, Class 10 theory exams will begin on May 4 and end on June 7. However, Class 12 papers will begin on May 4 and end on June 14.

Important Instructions for students:

1. Duration of time for each paper has been indicated in the Date-Sheet.
2. However, duration of time for each subject/paper as given on the question paper
be followed meticulously.
3. Answer books would be distributed to candidates between 10.00 AM–10.15 AM.
4. Candidates would write their particulars on the answer book.
5. Particulars shall be checked and signed by Assistant Superintendent(s).
6. Question paper will be distributed at 10.15 AM.
7. From 10.15 AM–10.30 AM (15 minutes), candidates shall read the question paper.
8. Candidates would plan proper strategy to write the answers.
9. At 10.30 AM candidates will start writing the answers.
10.No enquiries about date of declaration of result shall be attended to.
