CBSE Releases New Circular Making This Mandatory For Students

With an aim to keep a tab on students skipping schools for long, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reportedly released a circular making it mandatory for students to produce death certificates of their parents, in case of any such loss.

The move will reportedly help the Board in getting fooled by students, especially those play truant and stay away from schools for long making such claims.

According to Indian Express, the CBSE has issued a circular to the heads of the schools, stating that students should mandatorily produce death certificates in case of the loss of their parents. Besides, students will now have to produce medical certificates in case of long leaves.

It is believed that long leaves by students are affecting their performance and to check such activities, it is mandatory to put some standard operating procedures for the same.

On the other hand, though there is no official confirmation, CBSE has already begun its preparations for the CBSE Board Exams 2020. If reports are to believed, the Board may conduct the practical exams for class 10 and class 12 in December while the main exams will be from February 15, 2020.

The basic date sheet of the board for the CBSE class 10 and class 12 exams 2020 show practical papers may be held in December this year. Meanwhile, the date sheet for the CBSE class 10, 12 likely to be released in November 2019.
