Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important circular for all schools regarding conduct of practical examination, project and internal assessments for 2020.

The board is keen to hold the theory examinations of various skill subjects from February 15, 2020. Hence, the principals and heads of CBSE affiliated schools have been asked to conduct the practical and project assessments from January 1 to February 7, 2020.

The schools have been directed to be extra cautious will uploading the marks after the assessments as no correction in marks will be allowed thereafter.

As the practical examination will be conducted in respective schools, there will be an external and internal examiner as per the existing prevalent practice. However, school authorities have been asked to ensure that the practicals are conducted by external examiners appointed by CBSE.

CBSE will provide a link to schools to upload one group photograph of each batch during the practical examination. As per the board instructions, the group photograph along with candidates, internal and external examiners should be taken inside the laboratory where the practical examinations will be conducted.

The board has directed schools to upload the marks of internal assessment between January 1 and February 7, 2020.
