New Delhi: The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for Class-XII examination on Monday.

Union Human Resource Development Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced it through a tweet that read, “Dear Students, Parents and Teachers! CBSE has announced the results of Class XII. We congratulate you all for making this possible. I reiterate, Student's health & quality education are our priority.”

Pokhriyal instructed the students to visit http://cbseresults.nic.in to access their results.

A total of 10.59 Lakh students emerged successful in the examination throughout India with a passing percentage of 77.78%, out of which 92.15% are girls while 88.18% students are boys.

As per the sources, Thiruvanthapuram region topped the chart with 97.67% of students passing out the of class-12 examination, while Bhubaneswar region recorded a passing percentage of 91.46%.

Similarly, as far as the schools are concerned, Navodaya Vidyalay registered the highest, 98.70% passing rate. Kendriya Vidyalay and private schools recorded a passing percentage of 98.62% and 88.22% respectively.

Notably, the results of the CBSE Class-X examination will very likely be announced on 15 July, 2020.
