The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reportedly preponed all its activities related to conduct of exam, result declaration of result and verification and re-evaluation process following a directive from Delhi High Court.

"As per the directives of the Delhi High Court, CBSE has preponed all its activities of conduct of examination, declaration of result and process of verification and re-evaluation," said CBSE PRO, Rama Sharma.

In a letter to Registrar of Delhi University, the Board has reportedly urged to align the admission process as per its schedule. With this, the varsity will fix the last date of application submission for admission in DU in such a manner that the re-evaluation work gets over prior to the last date of its admission process.

A total of 12,87,359 students appeared for CBSE Class 12 board exam- 7,48,498 boys and 5,38,861 girls. Kendriya Vidyalaya topped among the institutions with highest number of passing students with 98.54 pass percentage.
