The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently concluded the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams 2019, and the result of the same is expected to be released in the month of May.

According to reports, the evaluation work of the answer papers of CBS Class 10 is presently going on at various examination centres across the country.

As the Board is likely to release the results a bit early this year, TIMESNOWNEWS.COM reached out to the various evaluation centres in Delhi NCR and reportedly found that the evaluation is almost complete.

It further reported, citing an examiner that checking of Economics and Physical Education papers has been completed while Social Studies paper of Class 10 will be completed by this week.

“CBSE has been extra strict and vigil this year. The number of evaluation centres was increased, mandatory attendance of teachers was implemented and better monitoring has helped,” TIMESNOWNEWS.COM quoted a source as saying on the condition of anonymity.

On the other hand, CBSE was reported to be using digital technology to create as much of a level playing field as possible for students who feel unduly penalised by a disproportionately difficult question paper or a stray ambiguous question.

As per an IANS report by Vishal Narayan, an official said that the Board started using the Theory Evaluation Trend Analysis (TETRA) software – written by its own team – last year for studying the trend of marks being obtained by the students across the regions.

The software displays the live trend of average marks scored across the centres and can be used for moderation of marks in case there’s an unfair degree of ambiguity or difficulty in the question paper, it added.
