CBSE Board Exams 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently released the sample question papers for CBSE Class 10 and 12 board examinations. Student can avail the sample papers from the official website of CBSE- cbseacademic.nic.in.

As the syllabus for Class 10 and 12 CBSE Board Examination 2021 has been reduced by 30% in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, the sample question papers will help the students and their parents know the exam pattern, types of questions and weightage given to various chapters in different subjects.

CBSE Board Examinations 2021 likely to be delayed to April - May?

Speculations are rife regarding the conduct of Class 10 and 12 board examinations next year. Even though the central government has allowed schools all over India to reopen in phases from October 15, schools have remained closed in many places across the country which is a matter of concern.

While the CBSE authorities are yet to share any tentative dates regarding the examinations of Class 10 and 12, experts are of the opinion that starting the board examination from February 2021 may not be possible.

In a related development, CBSE and CISCE- the two national boards are thinking about reducing the syllabus further to 50% since schools have not started yet.

The India Today in one of its report stated that CBSE is thinking of delaying the board exams by 45-60 days, which means that the CBSE board exams could be delayed to April or May. However, a decision in this regard has not been taken yet.

In related development, schools have already started the registration process of filling the CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Examination Form 2021 along with registration of students of Class 9 and 11.

The LOC or List of Candidates would be shared by the various schools with the board after which the board will decide on the date sheet.

Meanwhile, the board has urged the students to focus on their studies. CBSE has also collected the status of online classes from its affiliated schools and those data will be reportedly is used while deciding on the CBSE Board Examinations.

Steps To Download Sample Question Papers

Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE- https://cbse.nic.in/newsite/

Step 2: Click on the link 'Examinations' tab on the top of the home page.

Step 3: A new page will open, Click on ‘Sample Question Papers for classes X and XII (2020-21)'

Step 4: There will be two links on the page, one for Class 10 and the other for Class 12. Click on the link of your class

Step 5: You will be directed to a new page. Click on the particular sample question paper (SQP)

Step 6: A new pdf will open. Download the SQP and take a print out of it for future use
