Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon released the date sheets for the CBSE class 10th and 12th board examinations 2019.

It is expected that the Board will release the date sheets sooner this year than usually it does. The Board used to release the date sheets in the month of January for the examinations that were held in March.

However, given the fact that the board exams are likely to conduct the exams a bit earlier, CBSE may release the date sheets in December this year.

As expected, the Class 10 and 12 date sheets might be released in the second or the third week of December.

While CBSE will conduct the vocational examinations in February, exams the core subjects are likely to begin from March 1, 2019.

The board has also decided to continue with the changed passing criteria for class 10 for the second consecutive year. The revised passing criteria require students to score combined 33 per cent mark to pass- it includes internal assessment (practical marks) and external (board exam) marks.
