CBSE Board Exams 2021: Students To Get Another Chance To Improve Board Results

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: In a good news for class 10 and class 12 students set to appear for the CBSE board exams 2021, the board has decided to conduct the improvement exam in the same year.

CBSE class 10, 12 students can now improve their board results in the same year without waiting for the same for a year.

Students can now appear for an improvement paper in the same academic session. They will have to appear in the compartment exams conducted a few months after the declaration of CBSE board exam results.

This permission will be made available to students appearing in the 2021 examination and if they wish to improve their performance in any one subject they may again apply in the Compartment examination for appearing to improve their performance, read a statement by CBSE.

The National Education Policy (NEP) recommendations suggest giving multiple opportunities to students to score well. As per the new norm, a class 10 or 12 student will get the opportunity to improve his/her performance only in one subject in the Compartment exam.

The better of the two marks obtained in the subject by the student will be considered for declaration of results and he/she will be issued a combined mark sheet.
