New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notice for its affiliated schools to avoid mistakes during the Class 11 registration and filing list of candidates for Class 12.

All schools are requested to ensure that correct subject codes have been filled during registering students in Class XI and filling List of Candidates (LOC) for Class XII, said CBSE.

“Filling incorrect subject codes will ensure that the students are taught the prescribed syllabus as also correct subject code question paper(s) are provided to the candidates on the date of examination,” the board’s release read.

In the event, any school has already submitted the Registration list for Class XI and LOC for Class XII, correction/change in the subject codes, if any, should be communicated to the concerned Regional Office so as to reach them latest by 15th October, 2019, it said.

The Board further shared the code adding that ‘as per the Senior School Curriculum for 2019-2020, following subjects have to be offered by the schools’:

Class XI Session 2019-2020 - Informatics Practice (New)

Class XII Session 2019-2020 - 065 Informatics Practice (New)

265 - Informatics Practice (Old)

083 - Computer Science (New)

283 - Computer Science (Old)

Meanwhile, the sample papers for Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams were recently released by CBSE.
