CBSE Academic Session 2020: Board’s Latest Clarification On Level Of Assessment

Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued an important clarification regarding the level of assessment/ examination for Class IX students.

As per the latest clarification, there will be only one level of assessment/ examination in class IX in the academic session 2019-20 in the subject of mathematics.

The board issued such clarification in view of the confusion created in the minds of students and guardians regarding the levels of assessment in the upcoming session, sources said.

CBSE had started the registrations of students of classes 9 and 11 for 2019-2020 session from August 8. The registration process was taken up two months in advance instead of in October.

On the other hand, the CBSE has brought major changes in the exam pattern of Classes 10 and 1. The board has planned to reduce the number of questions in majority of subjects and provide more options in selecting question to answer.
