Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday categorically said that appropriate decision on the conduct of Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations scheduled to be held next year will be taken after prior consultations with all stakeholders.

In a notice, the CBSE stated that, “It has come to our notice that on several social media platforms and in newspapers, dates/ months for starting of class X and XII board examinations and practical examinations are being circulated. As these circulated information is not correct, hence creating panic amongst the schools, students and parents.”

The CBSE has already communicated to all the affiliated schools, students and other stakeholders not to believe such information on social media.

“CBSE is well aware about the condition of the students and parents in the time of pandemic and, therefore, whatsoever decision would be taken by the CBSE that will be taken after consultation with all the stakeholders and will be communicated at an appropriate time through board website,” the CBSE notice read.
