BSNL JAO recruitment 2017 for 996 posts: Apply from tomorrow, know the details!

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has issued recruitment notification for 996 posts of Junior Accounts Officers (JAOs) through online competitive examinations 2017.

Registration process for the candidature of “Direct Junior Accounts Officers (DR-JAO)” in BSNL will be from September 11 through online BSNL portal - www.externalexam.bsnl.co.in.

The state-run telecom firm will recruit as many as 996 Posts of Direct JAOs who will be appointed in the IDA pay scale Executive [E-1] of Rs 16,400 to Rs 40,500 with an annual increment of 3% of basic pay plus IDA, HRA, perks, medical benefits, etc. as per the company's rules.

*Important Eligibility: Applicant must possess the educational qualification M.COM/CA/ICWA/CS from a recognised institution/University. Candidate shall not be below 20 years and shall not exceed 30 years as on January 1, 2017.

However, the upper age limit relaxation is as per the standing instructions of Government of India: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 15 years for SC/ST-PWD candidates, 13 years for OBC-PWD candidates, 10 years for OC-PWD candidates and 5 years for BSNL employees. Similarly, ex-Servicemen will get the benefit of age relaxation as per Central government rules.

The prescribed examination fee is Rs 1000 for OC/OBC and Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates. The payment will be received by the concerned authority only through online mode i.e. internet banking, credit card and debit card.

The online registration process for the exam will be closed on October 15.
