Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: A major news for the candidates awaiting a government job and missed out on opportunities, the Central Railways and the Metro Rail Corporation has released recruitment notifications for the posts of Account Assistant, Public Relation Assistant, Maintainer ITI, Junior Engineer, Station Controller Cum Train Operator, Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak, Assistant Manager, Assistant Company Secratary, Customer Relations Assistant and many other vacancies under Railway recruitment 2018. Aspirants are advised to go through the details under each vacancies including age limit, educational qualification, procedure to apply which have been given below.

CENTRAL RAILWAY:

Central Railway recently announced job notification for candidates who have completed Class 10th or 12th for the posts of Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak. Interested and eligible candidates should submit their application on or before April 02, 2018.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed Class 10th, 12th in any reconized board/ university.

Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 to apply for the post

Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be based on written Exam and later an interview will be conducted.

How to Apply:

The application booklet can be obtained from the office address - Central Railway, Mumbai, Maharashtra on any working day from Monday to Friday between 10 am to 5 pm by making a payment of Rs 500. For more details regarding the vacancies, candidates can log on to the official website of Central Railway www.cr.indianrailways.gov.in. Application booklet can also be downloaded from website and in such cases Rs 500 will have to be deposited at the time of submission of form.

METRO RAIL CORPORATION:

LMRC has announced notification for Diploma, Graduates M.E/M.Tech, B.Tech/B.E, MCA, MBA/PGDM candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer, Station Controller Cum Train Operator and Multiple Vacancy.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on a Written Test and later a medical examination will be conducted.

Vacancy: Junior Engineer-92 posts

Candidates are required to apply for the post before March 22, 2018.

1. Post Name: Jr Engineer (Civil/ Electrical/ S&T):
2. Jr Engineer/(Civil): Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with minimum of 60% marks for UR & OBC vacancies & with minimum of 50% marks for SC candidates for reserved vacancies only
3. Jr Engineer/ (Electrical): Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with minimum of 60% marks for UR & OBC vacancies and with minimum of 50% marks for reserved vacancies of SC/ST only
4. Jr Engineer/(S&T): Three years Engineering Diploma in Electronics/Electronics & Communication or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with minimum of 60% marks for UR & OBC vacancies and with minimum of 50% marks for reserved vacancies of SC only
5. Training & Probation: The selected candidates on appointment will be on Probation for a period of two years (including period of training), where they will undergo intensive training for prescribed duration. The Corporation has the right to enhance or reduce the training period at its discretion for any or all the trainees. During the probation period, candidates may be required to pass various examinations. After successful completion of probation period depending upon their satisfactory performance, candidates are likely to be confirmed in LMRC on permanent basis.

Age Limit: Applicants' age should be between 21 and 28 years.

Application Fee: General and OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500 for each post (exclusive of bank charges plus service tax). However, SC/ST candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200.

Vacancy: Station Controller-Cum-Train Operator (SCTO)-101 Posts

Education Qualification: Three years Engineering Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics /Electronics & Telecommunication or equivalent from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with minimum of 60% marks for UR and OBC vacancies and with minimum of 50% marks for reserved vacancies of SC/ST candidates

Training and Probation: The selected candidates on appointment will be on Probation for a period of two years (including period of training), where they will undergo intensive training for prescribed duration. After successful completion of probation period depending upon their satisfactory performance, candidates are likely to be confirmed in LMRC on permanent basis.

Educational Qualification: Any Graduate

Maintainer         ITI-110 Posts

2. While applying for these posts, the applicant should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility and other norms mentioned above on the specified dates and that the particulars furnished by him/her are correct in all respects. In case, it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is/are detected even after appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated.
3. Community/Caste certificate should be in prescribed format (SC/ST/OBC), for seeking age relaxation etc. No other format will be acceptable.

Benefit of reservation will be given only to the candidates who are originally domicile of State of UP. Therefore SC/ST/OBC/Women/DFF/ESM of UP should obtain domicile certificate of UP as per UP Govt. format after applying posts against this notification.

4. The issue of an Admit Card or result notification to appear in the Written test/Psycho Aptitude Test/medical fitness test or the fact of having passed these tests or having been placed on the final merit list, will not be a proof of any candidate’s eligibility. Candidature will be purely provisional subject to eligibility and other verifications before or after appointment in LMRC. The onus of ensuring that candidate meets all the eligibility requirements will rest on the candidate himself/herself all through the recruitment process. Candidates will be allowed to appear in written test /Psycho Aptitude Test /Medical fitness test purely on provisional basis and no candidate will have a right to appointment or any compensation only on the ground of having appeared in or passed the written or any other screening test.
5. Candidates should refer to advertisement given in the National daily News paper or on LMRC’s website only, for the purpose of applying for the jobs.

LMRC has not authorized any other agency/vendor to publish the instant advertisement and application form. The only and accepted mode of
