Best Teacher Educator Award 2019: Here's an important announcement

Bhubaneswar: For the first time, National  Council  for  Teacher  Education  (NCTE) has invited online applications for the 'Best Teacher Educator Award'. As per Ministry of HRD, the main objective of the is to recognize and felicitated teachers and educators for their exceptional work.

Under the 'Best Teacher Award scheme, 20 eminent teachers will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 25,000 each.

The  awards  will be  decided  by  a jury/selection committee comprising eminent educationists from entries received through an IT  enabled  transparent  system.

Important Dates: Last date for applying August 16, 2019.

Eligibility Criteria:

Teacher Educators working in the NCTE recognised TEIs.

Teacher Educators with 10 (ten) years teaching experience in regular service.

At  least  2  innovative/experimental  teaching  practices  which  have  proven  impact  on teaching learning process is mandatory.

Maximum age limit-55 years on 5th September 2019

The candidature should be forwarded by Principal/Director/HOD/Dean/Registrar.

Recommendation of two Educationists/ Academicians with the documentary proof is mandatory.
