Bhubaneswar: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar has invited applications for recruitment to 293 posts of Senior and Junior Residents (Non-Academic).

Eligible candidates can apply online by logging into the official website www.aiimsbhubaneswar.edu.in within 30 days from the date of the publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.

Date/Time of interview, written test for both Senior and Junior Residents: 17 January 2018

Candidates with MD/DNB in Paediatrics can apply for the post of Senior Residents in the Department of Neonatology, Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Medical Oncology.

Candidates  with  MD/DNB  in  Medicine degree can  apply  for  the  post  of  Senior  Residents  in  the  Department  of Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Medical Oncology.

Candidates having  MS/DNB  in  General  Surgery can  also  apply  for  the  post  of  Senior  Residents  in  the department of Neurosurgery, Paediatrics Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Urology and Burns & Plastic Surgery.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification

  • Senior Resident-Post Graduate Medical Degree MD/MS/DM/M.Ch in their respective streams as recognised by the Medical Council of India/Institute of national repute
  • Junior Resident (Non-Academic): MBBS degree from MCI accredited institution. Interested candidates must possess internship certificate under any state MCI.
  • Candidates those hoping to complete the aforesaid courses by January, 2018 can also apply but they have to produce the pass certificate from the Institute at the time of Interview.

Age Limit: 33 years

Upper age limit relaxed by up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC.

Mode of Selection:

Written  examination,  will  only  be  conducted  if the  number  of  applications  are  more  than three  times than the  number  of  posts.  However,  there  will  be  no  written  test  for  that  post  against  which  less number  of  applications  are  received  than  the  vacancies and instead candidates have to appear for walk in interview on January 17 at Bhubaneswar campus.

Candidates working in Govt.  / Semi-Govt., PSU will be permitted for examination / interview, with “No Objection Certificate” from the employer.
