Boudh: A man from Dunguriguda village under Kantamala police limits in the district allegedly severed the leg of his son-in-law yesterday for marrying his daughter against his wishes.

The accused Sashi Mahalika attacked his son-in-law Sourabh Dandia from Barapada village with an axe while the latter was returning from the local Anganwadi centre after dropping his wife.

The matter came to fore today after a complaint was lodged by the father of the victim, Chitrasen at the Kantamala police station in this regard.
