Odisha Government today released names of senior IAS officers who have been entrusted with various specific responsibilities to effectively manage COVID-19 situation in the State. As per the press release, Odisha government has also assigned IAS officers to coordinate with different states where Odia migrant labourer have been stranded.

The State government has posted Pradipta Kumar Mohapatraas ACS, Health and Family Welfare Department. The press release further stated that Mohapatra would be discharging additional duty at Revenue and Disaster Management Department.

Meanwhile, Odisha government released detailed travel history of COVID-19 patients from case number 91 to 102. As per the details provided by State I & PR Department, all six cases from patient number 95 to 100 are linked to Kolkata returnees from Jajpur district.

Case number 101 and 102, however belonged to Bisra in Sundergarh district.

Earlier today, the COVID19 positive case of Bhubaneswar who was under treatment at AIIMS recovered and tested negative. However, he is still undergoing treatment for his other chronic health issues. He will be discharged after complete recovery, informed State Health and Family Welfare Department.

The total number of recovery cases in Odisha now stand at 35.
