Mumbai: Tata Capital today launched 'Salaam Loans' under its 'Do Right' brand initiative to lend to individuals who may not have access to organised credit.

Under the 'Salaam Loans' initiative, individuals would be able to upload their own story, or stories of people known to them on the website www.doright.in, which will then be showcased across the country through social and digital media, the company said in a statement.

"Under the 'Do Right' initiative, this product aims to widen access to credit to those individuals who have little or no access to the organised financial system. Under this initiative, we have given the power of approval to the public to help fulfil their dreams with this unique product," Tata Capital Managing Director and CEO Praveen Kadle said.

He further said these are personal loans, offered up to Rs one lakh at a heavily discounted rates.

Sanctum Wealth Management today announced the appointment of Satwick Tandon to its management team as executive director responsible for developing its international strategy.

In this role, Tandon will report to Sanctum CEO, Shiv Gupta, the company said in a statement here.

Tandon has 18 years of experience, having worked across the financial services sector in the wealth management and insurance domains and in digital consumer services.

He has held leadership positions spanning, sales, products, and operations and technology across firms including Julius Baer and Citibank.

Media and entertainment firm Viacom18 today said it has elevated Raj Nayak to Chief Operating Officer as a part of its restructuring exercise that is aimed at making the organisation future ready as it enters its next growth phase.

With this move Viacom18 has consolidated its national brands aimed at youth and adult audiences including Hindi, youth, music and English entertainment offerings under the leadership of Nayak, the company said in a statement.

The role of Ferzad Palia, Head youth, music and English entertainment has been further expanded, to include two new businesses as the network dials up its content and music offerings.

The company has also elevated Anuj Poddar from his current role at Colours Marathi and Colours Gujarati to lead the rural expansion as Head - rural business, including Rishtey Cineplex, while Saugato Bhowmik, Head Viacom18 Consumer Products and Integrated Network Solutions will continue to drive the efforts towards building homegrown experiential IPs and a robust consumer products business, it said.

Palia, Poddar and Bhowmik will report to Nayak.

Online home rental company, NestAway Technologies today said it has acquired home aggregator and rental management company Zenify for an undisclosed amount.

With this acquisition, NestAway, in addition to providing homes to singles, will start offering homes to family tenants as well, it said in a statement.

This acquisition will help the company strengthen its position, in the managed home rental space in India.

Zenify will continue to maintain its identity and operations as an independent brand under the umbrella of NestAway, it said.
