With an aim to provide unlimited calling benefit to its subscribers, BSNL has launched a new plan at an affordable price of Rs 151. Despite being in financial crunch, the State-run BSNL has launched ‘Abhinandan-151’ to give a tough competition to private players and woo more subscribers. As per a report published by www.indiatoday.com, apart from Reliance Jio, BSNL has been getting new subscribers every month.

For its pre-paid subscribers, BSNL is offering the Abhinandan-151 with a validity of 24 days. A customer can make unlimited calling to any network in any circle. This apart the plan offers 1 GB data per day. Once someone exhausts the data limit in a day, the internet speed will be reduced to 40 Kbps. The new plan also offers 100 free SMSes per day.

However, if a BSNL customer compares the ‘Abhinandan-151’ offer with private players, then it does not look the concerned person has gained anything.

Reliance Jio offers a similar plan at Rs 149 with a total validity of 28 days and data allotment of 1.5GB per day. This apart, Jio offers free voice and video calls over its 4G LTE network.

Airtel also offers a plan at Rs 149 that offers unlimited calling along with 1GB data per day. But the validity is only for 21 days. At Rs 149, Vodafone offers unlimited calls between Vodafone numbers and gives 2GB data for 28 days.
