Youth shot at over past enmity in Puri

Puri: A youth was injured after he was shot at by unidentified miscreants near Kathapola on Puri-Bhubaneswar route in the wee hours on Sunday. The injured Gangadhar Bhola of Batagaon village has been shifted to Puri hospital.

According to reports, four to five miscreants stopped Gangadhar while he was on his way to a brick kiln and fired two rounds at him. Gangadhar has sustained a bullet injury on his thigh and his condition is said to be critical.

Sources said, Gangadhar has been attacked over some past enmity while police investigation has started into the firing incident.
