Twin murders in 24 hours in Bhubaneswar, Police clueless

Bhubaneswar: Two murders within 24 hours have rocked the Smart City while police still appears to be clueless. In both incidents, the victims were strangulated to death by unidentified assailants.

Police today seized an unidentified dead body from Sunderpur near Chandaka.

“The victim might have been strangulated to death by unidentified miscreants somewhere else and was dumped in Sunderpur,” said Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrata Bhoi.

As per reports, police found broken bangles near the crime spot.

In another incident on Sunday night, an auto driver was murdered in Kanan Vihar Phase II area here under Infocity Police station. The deceased was identified as Sibashankar Das, a resident of Balasore.

The reason of the crime in both the cases is unknown.

Meanwhile, the police are yet to nab the culprits involved in both the alleged murders.
