One dead, another critical in attack by miscreants in Berhampur

Berhampur: A youth was killed and another critically injured in a murderous attack by some miscreants near First Gate in the town late last night.

The deceased, identified as Upendera Behera, died while undergoing treatment at a hospital whereas the other injured is battling for life.

Bombs were hurled at the two youths prior to the attack.

Though the exact reason behind the attack on the two youths is not known, past enmity is suspected to be the cause.

Meanwhile, local police have launched a probe into the matter.
