Man slits throat of younger brother in Cuttack

Cuttack: A man slit his younger brother’s throat with a blade at Gokhasahi in Patapur under Banki police limits of Cuttack district today.

The deceased was identified as Prabhat Mallick who was killed by his elder brother Arun Mallick over a family feud.

Prabhat was first admitted to the sub-divisional hospital in Banki but later doctors referred him to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack. However, he succumbed to the injuries on the way to Cuttack.

Meanwhile, Arun is absconding after the incident, said sources.
