Bhadrak: In a bizarre incident, a woman was killed after being shot by her husband allegedly over a family feud in Dahanigadia village of Bhadrak district on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Annapurna Puhana.

As per sources, a mild squabble turned into a heated argument between Annapurna and her husband Goutam following which Goutam in a fit of rage fired at her.

Annapurna was rushed to Bhadrak hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Meanwhile, Bhadrak Town police reached on getting information and immediately arrested the accused husband.

Reportedly, Goutam was working as a security guard in Bhadrak town.
