Man kills wife over family quarrel

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly murdered by her husband following an argument over some petty issues at Kakarudrapur village under Balianta police limits of Khurda district today.

Family members said the couple had a quarrel over some petty issues late last night. Later the woman was allegedly attacked by her husband with a sharp weapon killing her on the spot.

Sources said the accused had been staying at his in-law’s house for the past three years.

On receiving information, police have reached the spot and initiated a probe.
