Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow today released the admit cards for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 on its official website. Candidates who have applied for the examination can download the admit cards from the official website iimcat.ac.in.

The facility to download the admit card would be open till November 26, 2017, i.e the date of exam.

IIM Lucknow, this year, is the exam conducting authority for CAT 2017 which would be a computer-based test. The institute has also announced that a mock test will be available on the website in the last week of October 2017.

Exam pattern:

The duration of the test will be 180 minutes. There will be three sections:
Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Section III: Quantitative Ability

Steps to download CAT 2017 admit card:

Step 1: Go to the official website for CAT, i.e. iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the notification provided for the admit cards

Step 3: Enter your details in the fields provided

Step 4: Download the admit card

Step 5: Take a print out and save a copy for further reference.

It may be mentioned here that the earlier date for the CAT 2017 admit card download was October 18. However, the candidates were made to wait as the release of admit card was postponed to October 25 after an official notification regarding the delay was released on the website iimcat.ac.in.

The delay in the date was attributed to the number of festivals and holidays falling immediately after the release of the results, however, there was no confirmatory reason behind the rescheduling of the date.

CAT 2017 will be conducted on November 26, 2017. CAT test is conducted for admission to the flagship management programmes at various Indian Institutes of Management as well as other top management schools in the country. This year, around 2.31 lakh candidates have registered for the exam.
